This notice describes how information is handled when you visit https://bluepapers.net or contact Bluepapers. For privacy questions, email studiojacobs@gmail.com.
Information you provide
If you email us, your email address and message are received through Gmail and used to respond to your inquiry or review a correction. Please do not send passwords, account numbers, identity documents, or other sensitive financial information.
When you leave a comment, WordPress collects the details entered in the comment form, together with your IP address and browser information to support moderation and spam detection. Approved comments and the display name you provide are public. An email-derived identifier may be sent to Gravatar to display your profile image. Your email address is not displayed as part of the public comment.
Site statistics, security, and cookies
Bluepapers uses WordPress and Jetpack, including site statistics and protection features. These services process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, page visits, referring pages, and access times to operate the site, understand readership, and help detect abuse. The information processed depends on the feature and your interactions.
WordPress may use cookies for sign-in and display preferences. If you choose to save your details when commenting, cookies can remember those details. Jetpack features may use cookies or similar technologies. You can manage or delete cookies in your browser; blocking some cookies may affect site features.
For details about Automattic and Jetpack, see the Privacy Notice for Visitors to Users’ Sites, Jetpack Privacy Center, and Cookie Policy.
Service providers and external websites
Website hosting, WordPress-related services, and the email provider process information needed to deliver their services. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their processing and retention practices are described in their respective privacy notices.
Links to external websites take you to services governed by their own policies. If an article includes embedded third-party content, that provider may receive technical information and use cookies as if you visited its website.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
Bluepapers displays advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to Bluepapers and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Where required by law, such as for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before advertising cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time. Ads may still appear without personalization if you decline. Advertisers have no influence over our editorial content, as described in our Editorial Policy. Bluepapers does not currently use affiliate links; if that changes, affected pages will say so clearly.
Email newsletter
If you subscribe to receive new guides by email, your email address is collected and stored through Jetpack and WordPress.com, operated by Automattic, and used only to send you new posts and related service messages. We do not sell or share your email address with advertisers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove your address by writing to studiojacobs@gmail.com.
Retention and your requests
WordPress comments and related metadata remain stored unless removed. Email correspondence remains in the contact mailbox unless deleted. Technical records are handled according to the relevant hosting or service provider’s retention practices.
You may contact studiojacobs@gmail.com to ask about personal information you have provided, request a correction, or request access or deletion. Please identify the relevant comment or correspondence without sending unnecessary sensitive information. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information. Some records may need to be retained for administrative, security, or legal reasons.
